I've been in the process of learning the kitchen sink also know as a text editor, EMACS. It seems to be given form for converts to the one true editor to post their .emacs files (the config file EMACS reads on start up) to demonstrate their understanding of the many braces that make up LISP. I guess its like marking territory :-)

Most of my dotemacs comes from Iain Georgeson who is definitely an EMACS magician. Most of my changes have so far been tweaks and cutting bits out I'm never going to use. Still it may evolve as I learn more.
