Preparations in progress

Or not. Just got back from my orthopedic consult which was very quick. The general consensus was "yeah we can do it, and we'd have to really screw up for something to go wrong". So I'm on the list for 6 months time for an operation which hopefully will fix things. The only thing I was massively surprised about was the fact it will be done under a general anesthetic - which means I need to blag someone to give me a lift there and back.

So now I'm just wasting time listening to Monty Python Sings until I start getting ready for tonight's New Years Eve bash. See some of you later and Happy New Year to those I won't see tonight.
