Worth the Fee

I watched the ShakespeaRe-told version of Much Ado About Nothing last night. Its one of the plays I've not seen before so I cam to it completely fresh. I thought it was really good and nice to see an adaptation to modern language which probably makes it a lot more immediately accessible that the normal modern dress adaptations that keep the language of the Bard intact. It was a nice touch bringing in some of Shakespear's sonnets in the hotel room scene though. I shall be keeping Monday evening's free for the next 3. I've seen "The Taming of the Shrew" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in the original language on the stage so it will be interesting to compare those adaptations.
