More DIY to catch up on

I was running a quick update on my desktop machine this morning when I noticed the collision light on my hub going crazy. The wired network in my house is a little ad-hoc which is something I've been meaning to sort out for a while. When I looked back to the console I noticed the source download had averaged 872 kb/s which explained the collision light. It seems I have finally reached the point when my broadband pipe can supply data faster than the aging 10BASE2 and 10BASE-T cables that run around my house. Just thought I'd mention that :-)
