Dear Beeb (reprise)

Continuing my on and off dialog with the nations favourite institution.

"Will the BBC support other formats for their podcasting trial? At the moment only having mp3 podcasts available make it very difficult to listen to on my GNU/Linux system.

The legal status of playing mp3's on my system is a grey area at best and something I'd rather avoid if there was a fully free alternative.

I know the Beeb has experimented with Ogg's for streaming before. Would it possible to add ogg's to the podcast support? "
