Acid Redux

It seems whoever wired my house may of been experimenting with psychedelics at the time. Still it all seems to be working now although I'm a little concerned the whole house will need re-wiring at some point.

I eased into work today by spending most of the morning getting my system up to the latest SuSE 10.1. There are a log of curves on the desktop now although unfortunately it doesn't seem to support Xgl/Compiz on the Matrox card my machine has. This is mildly annoying as I know the card is quite capable of accelerated 3D.
