Generally the only things I watch with any sort of regularity is international Rugby Union and the occasional World Cup game. However there is something to be said for the institution of Cricket. It's a lot easier to &lt;a class="reference external" href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/england/8211140.stm"&gt;watch the figures …&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</summary><content type="html">&lt;p&gt;I'm never been a big fan of spectator sports. It's a lot easier to &lt;a class="reference external" href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/england/8211140.stm"&gt;watch the figures slowly grow&lt;/a&gt; in the corner of a web page over 5 days while doing other things. If it starts looking close on day 3 or 4 I may even consider listening in to &lt;a class="reference external" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Test_Match_Special"&gt;TMS&lt;/a&gt; while doing the weeding. And if England &lt;a class="reference external" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ashes"&gt;win the Ashes&lt;/a&gt; I can at least say I paid some sort of attention to the game and use it as an excuse for a celebratory pint :-)&lt;/p&gt;
