Science Cuts

Due to the government's failure to properly fund science (for the frankly piddling £80m shortfall) several of our high profile experiments are under threat. Considering the amount spent bailing out Northern Rock or daily on the various wars they have started you would of thought they could find the cash to help advance the state of knowledge in this country. One of the sillier cuts is pulling funding from Jodrell Bank and the pioneering e-Merlin project after we have spent many millions upgrading it. Please sign the petition and tell your friends.
